Our Services

We are dedicated to builing a well-working County Animal Response Team in Sedgwick County.  We are looking for volunteers to help with development of our team.  To volunteer contact administrator@sedgwickcoart.org and we will be happy to talk with you!

We are involved in rescue, triage, sheltering, veterinary care and returning animals to their homes during disasters.  One of our primary missions is to educate and prepare individuals to take care of their pets during disasters.

Training is required to be a member of our team.  The minimum requirements are successful completion of Incident Command training avaiable at the Federal Emergency Management website.  IS 100, 200 and 700 are the required classes and are a free online.  Please save copies either electronically or paper as proof of completion.
